The most immediate change is the ability to bounce in any direction, even backwards. Sliding, diving, and prone movement options have also been expanded to be as smooth and dynamic as possible.
There are 16 all-new maps coming to multiplayer. Twelve of them are for the 6v6 game type and four maps can be played as 6v6 or 2v2.
Once you reach max level in multiplayer, the old Prestige system comes back into play, allowing you to go through the entire leveling journey again to unlock all your weapons and gear again. You have to go through 10 prestige levels, and each level comes with a new reward. But that’s not the end. Because if you achieve Prestiege Master, you can go 1,000 more levels.
Although not directly related to gameplay, it will be the first title in the series that allows players to fully customize the HUD, hiding or rearranging important information.
Zombies will finally return to its arcade-style roots. Returning to the Dark Aether storyline, it features two new round-based maps at launch: Terminus and Liberty Falls. Aside from the promise of new and returning fan-favorite features, little is known about what secrets and horrors await us in this mode.
