Certain clubs do not participate for the first time in 10 years
The final fact about the Premier League is that for the first time in 11 years, neither Saracens nor Exeter Chiefs will be competing for the title.
A final without either club will force fans to look back to the 2012/13 season. Fighting for the trophy in that campaign were Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints. Leicester won 37-17 that day.

Since then either Saracens or Exeter have been involved, but not always winning.
The 2013/14 season saw Northampton take on Saracens. Extra time came and Northampton took the lead. The following season Saracens were back again, but this time facing Bath. They won their second premiership title, beating Mike Ford’s men 28-16.
The 2015/16 season saw the defending champions reach the final again. The London club competed against Exeter Chiefs. A player who was playing in his first Premiership final. Saracens came out on top with 28-20 winners.
Exeter reached the final the following season, but this time against Wasps. The South West side beat the legendary club to lift their first Premiership trophy.
Chiefs got the chance to defend their title in the 2017/18 campaign, this time in a rematch against Saracens. However, the London club tops the table and it is Saracens who win the same match again in the next final.
The 2019/20 season saw Wasps last reach the final as the club enters administration in 2022. Their opponents were Exeter Chiefs, who emerged as eventual winners.
Exeter will not be able to defend their title again after playing Harlequins in the final. Despite being up 11 points, Quins fought back to take the trophy.
The 2021/22 and 2022/23 finals both feature Saracens, with them losing and winning each game.
And now supporters arrive for the 2023/24 final. Exeter missed out on the semi-finals and Saracens have lost their last four games to Northampton.
Northampton go into Bath on Saturday with the winner becoming their fifth winner in the last five seasons.
