Sean “Diddy” Combs’ daughter, Chance Combs, has officially graduated from high school!
The 17-year-old graduated at Sierra Canyon’s Grade 12 graduation ceremony held on May 30, 2024.
Chance shared his excitement on social media, exclaiming “I did it” on his Instagram Story.
She later shared a graduation photo featuring her mom Sarah Chapman and her siblings.
“This is just the beginning,” she wrote alongside the photo.
Her mother Sarah Chapman captured her procession and posted it to her Instagram Story with the caption: “Let’s Goo, Chance!”
Chance’s close family were there to support her, but her father was noticeably absent from the ceremony.
According to sources close to the family, Diddy decided not to attend the event due to his ongoing legal issues. Speculation is that he is attempting to protect his children from potential negative attention.
“In fact, Diddy is facing prosecution and is trying to continue as normally as possible… but honestly, it’s a dangerous time and it sounds like he’s trying to avoid getting his kids caught up in the drama,” reports TMZ.
This isn’t the first major event Diddy has missed. Just two weeks ago, he missed his twin daughters’ junior prom.
Meanwhile, Chance is preparing for the next chapter. She will attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and pursue her acting dreams as a Class of 2028 graduate.
Last July, Diddy expressed her pride in Chance on Instagram and shared a heartwarming photo taken together.
“Words cannot express how proud I am to watch you achieve and pursue your goals,” he wrote in the caption. Take your chance! I love you so much! @myfancychance.”
