Salzburg Festival
when: From July 21 to August 31, 2024.
Every summer since 1920, the Salzburg Festival is a highlight of the Baroque city of Salzburg. Some of classical music’s greatest artists appear on stage at events featuring operas, concerts and dramas.

Every August, audiences gather to hear classical performances in the beautiful setting of a park adjacent to a centuries-old castle.

The various locations include the port of Linz, a network of underground tunnels, a monastery, a tobacco processing plant and a former Austrian Postal Service logistics facility.
Each year, more than 1,000 artists and scientists from more than 40 countries participate in the event.
