2024 fantasy football: first five rounds rewritten

The NFL regular season is almost over, with just one game left until the playoffs begin.

Most fantasy football leagues crowned themselves champions in Week 17, and while some participants were ecstatic to bask in the glory, others were downright disappointed.

But which players were on the championship-winning team? Who has the most fantasy owners for the 2024 season? And it would have been great to know which players might have long-term injuries.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it’s fun to see how things play out after the fact. For example, Christian McCaffrey was the consensus top pick heading into the season. But considering the number of games he missed and the results he got from the games he played, he might not even have been worth drafting at all.

FOX Sports Research conducted a redraw of the first five rounds assuming a standard 12-player league. We gave each player their average points per game in terms of PPR (half points and full points per reception).

We also included the number of games each player played, which was taken into account along with position values ​​and statistical results.

Players who failed to appear in more than 11 games were excluded from draft consideration.
